CrossFit Foundation Course


Develop strength, fitness and safety through foundations.

The CFD Foundations course is the right way to learn the moves included in our CrossFit WODs. Our training methods are challenging but can be adapted (scaled) to everyone’s fitness level. We take you through all of the primary moves from which CrossFit is based so that you have a foundation for the technique taught in everyday class.

Learn the movement mechanics to keep you safe from injury, including why the CrossFit methodology is so effective in helping you meet your goals. We’ll define fitness, discuss the benefits of CrossFit, and give you a basic understanding of ‘intensity’ and when to use it.

CrossFit Foundation Course Includes:

  • 90 mins weightlifting
  • 30 mins gymnastic fundamentals
  • 14 Days Unlimited Access to CFD (any class)
  • Box mate access (programming, track, box news)

The 9 Fundamental movements of CrossFit includes:

  • Air Squat
  • Front Squat
  • Overhead Squat
  • Strict Press
  • Push Press
  • Push / Split Jerk
  • Deadlift
  • Sumo High Pull
  • MedBall Clean


Introduction to Gymnastics includes:

  • Pull Up To Muscle Up
  • Handstands
  • Glute and Hamstring Development (GHD)
  • Rope Climb
  • Box Jumps
  • Push Up And Rings
  • Core and Breath Work


We understand that learning CrossFit in a group setting might not be for you, and you may prefer to take the course one to one. This can be arranged at a time convenient to you.

Our foundation’s course is packed full of knowledge and useful tips, focusing on mechanics and correct techniques at relatively light loads. We teach you the primary movements found in most CrossFit workouts.
