Hi, I’m Gina, a CrossFit coach with a real passion for movement, especially gymnastics. I love helping people discover what their bodies are capable of, whether that’s hitting their first pull-up, perfecting a handstand, or simply moving with more confidence.

My favourite thing about our box? Definitely the community. At CFD, you’re not just walking into a gym — you’re joining a team. It’s a place where you’ll challenge yourself, make genuine friendships, and get into the best shape of your life — all while having fun and celebrating the wins, big and small.

A Bit About Gina

MY PATH TO COACHING

I have been training Crossfit for 6 years, completing my CF Level 1 in 2021. I have always enjoyed sports and learning new skills which is why CrossFit is perfect for me, there is so much variation! I have a background in gymnastics, cheerleading and climbing and have several years of experience coaching gymnastics for children.

COACHING FOCUS

I’ve always loved anything that gets me upside-down — from handstands to handstand walks and all the gymnastics skills in between.

I love Olympic lifting and how technical and precise it is — there’s always something to refine, whether it’s bar path, timing, or footwork. I enjoy breaking down the movements and helping others build both strength and skill. It’s a challenge, but that’s exactly what makes it so rewarding — for me and for the athletes I coach.

My Expertise

I like teaching people how to move well. It’s sounds boring, but coordination and body awareness aren’t things that come naturally to everyone. For me, I think this has the biggest impact on progress so it’s great when a drill makes a movement ‘click’ in someone’s head.
